A. Master’s Program 

The primary goal of our master’s program is to cultivate professional research skills and deepen student knowledge. According to the specialties of our faculty, the program provides students with required training and professional knowledge within the sociological field.     

 

B. Courses

Basic required courses: Contemporary Social Research and Critical Thinking, Sociological Theory, Social Research Methods, and Statistical Methods and Analysis. Students can take special courses according to their interests.

Remarks:

According to the requirements set by the Department, international students are required to pass the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) at Level 4 or other Chinese language proficiency test before graduation or take and pass Chinese courses for at least half a year (2 terms).
